Aims and Scope

Advances in Applied Physiology (ISSN Online: 2471-9714, ISSN Print: 2471-9692) is a peer-reviewed, international, open access journal published quarterly in English-language, it provides an international forum for the presentation of research findings and scholarly exchange in the area of applied physiology. The journal has a special focus on cell and molecular aspect of physiology, genetics, pharmacology, environmental physiology, musculoskeletal physiology, endocrinology, neurology, high altitude physiology, exercise and sports physiology, ergonomics and human factors, occupational health and safety, GI physiology and metabolism, nutrition and dietetics, human performance in extreme environment, cardiovascular physiology, respiratory physiology, reproductive physiology, toxicology, physiology of aging, immunology and microbiology etc. Although preference is given to manuscripts presenting the findings of original research, review and methodological pieces will also be considered.
